Microneedling is a treatment which is usually used on the face and neck to reduce the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles, shrink open pores and improve the appearance of all types of scars including acne scars. It causes the body to naturally produce a healing response to repair itself.
Bareface Aesthetics uses a device called a Microneedling Pen. This small handheld machine has multiple fine, sterile needles. The microneedling device delivers 1,300 micro punctures per second, which results in the skin naturally producing collagen and elastin to repair itself.
Your Practitioner will cleanse and apply a hyaluronic acid solution to the treatment area, set the appropriate needle depth, then gently sweep the Pen over your skin. This also allows the hyaluronic acid solution to penetrate more deeply, making it more effective. If you are having a microneedling facial, a face mask containing a natural vitamin serum will be applied after treatment. You will benefit the most from at least three treatments two weeks apart, then continue the remaining ones monthly. Scarring and stretch mark treatment is permanent! Bonus!!

Most of our clients won’t feel very much discomfort during this procedure, however, your Bareface Aesthetic Practitioner will be happy to apply a topical skin numbing cream before treatment on request.
We use a Dr Pen device for this treatment which is widely used in the aesthetic industry.
There is no downtime after each treatment, although you may experience redness for a few hours afterwards.
Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 24 hours.
You can wash your face with water.
You can return to your normal activities right after the procedure.
Your Bareface Aesthetics practitioner will inform you of any other helpful requirements prior to treatment.
Results should be noticeable after three treatments, two weeks apart.
Depending on the areas being treated, the effect should last at least twelve months or even longer.
